My Pilates story started at the VZPS Salcedo Village in Makati.I had the honor of working with the best Instructor Trainer in Asia. Vivian Zapanta teaches Pilates with passion and encourages her students to always strive for excellence. She goes above and beyond for her students. I will never forget how well she connected anatomy, proper form, breath and cueing. It was a magical experience! Her words have inspired me as a Pilates teacher and molded me into who I am today. I love teaching group classes because of the exciting energy that you feel when teaching but Private Training is my bread and butter. I work with a diverse clientele from athletes to paraplegic stroke and other special population demographic. I’m currently the only active Pilates Master Trainer for Club Pilates in Northeast Ohio. Cleveland Pilates is my baby studio that opened last June 2021. All these accomplishments are because of my mentor and inspiration – Miss V! I am beyond grateful and blessed to have had her as part of my amazing journey.

Vivian Zapanta is a teacher by heart, I had the opportunity to be mentored by her in becoming an ACE Certified Personal Trainer during my fitness days in the early 90’s. I’m inspired by her career in fitness and saw her transition to be a Pilates Studio Owner. After seeing her success, I opened my own studio in 2006 and got trained and Certified Stott Pilates under Vivian Zapata’s tutelage.

I currently owned and operate my own studio in Scottsdale, Arizona, we are over 19 years now. With 4 Pilates Instructor and 1 Physical Therapist. We are projecting by the end of the year 2025 $600,000.00 Thanks to all my mentors and colleagues like Vivian Zapanta who is valuable part in my success. She help me laid down the foundational knowledge I need to grow as an instructor. Super grateful with her mentorship.

With over 13 years of experience teaching Pilates, I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge and insight – starting from the strong foundation I received from my first teacher, Ms. Vivian Zapanta. Her guidance laid the groundwork for my understanding and ability to teach correctly and effectively.

In every class, I prioritize proper body alignment before initiating movement. This principle is always at the heart of my teaching. It’s essential for instructors to help students understand what they’re doing and why. When practitioners truly grasp how to engage their muscles correctly, they not only improve performance but also reduce the risk of injury.

My name is Ludy. I’ve been a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor for 25 years, and a certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor for nearly 14 years. I’m proud to say that I come from the Philippines—a place that shaped my strength and passion for this profession. Despite many challenges in life, my journey in fitness has continuously inspired and empowered me.

My transition into Pilates began when I started experiencing minor injuries as a result of high-intensity training. As fitness instructors, we often push our bodies to the limit without realizing the long-term impact, especially when we’re younger. That experience opened my eyes to the importance of mindful movement and body awareness.

In 2011, I took my STOTT PILATES® certification course at VZPS in Makati, Manila, where I had the privilege of being trained by one of Asia’s most respected and outstanding instructors—Ms. Vivian Zapanta.
Today, I continue my work as a Sports Coach in Bahrain, leading my private clients toward their fitness goals. Their progress fuels my passion and keeps me strong every day.
